Lenny Lipari, President and CEO of Action Specialties, has been leading the company since founding it in 1994. With a background as a coach, teacher, and owner of a sporting goods company, Lenny brings a winning mindset and positive attitude to every aspect of the business. He believes in the power of teamwork and hands-on mentorship, never asking employees to do something he hasn’t done himself. Lenny takes pride in his business success over the years and enjoys working with his team to foster a winning culture that strives for improvement. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, Robin, as well as participating in sporting activities, coaching, hunting, fishing, and inspiring others.
Nancy Landry

Nancy Landry, Accounting Department Manager, at our New Iberia office, has been with Action Specialties since its founding in 1994. As one of the original owners, Nancy has held various roles in sales, marketing, and management—drawing from her experience managing L & L Sporting Goods for over a decade. She thrives in the business world, embracing the challenges of running a successful, family-owned company. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching her grandchildren’s activities.

Arnie Alexander has been a valued employee of Action Specialties’ sales team since 2018, leveraging his extensive background in outside sales to build lasting client relationships. Based in New Braunfels, TX, Arnie is known for his honesty, attention to detail, and solution-focused approach to selling. His career was inspired by connecting with others in the field and learning the art of sales firsthand. In her first full year, she exceeded her sales goals, a proud achievement that highlights her commitment to building lasting partnerships. Jared Bienvenu is a Sales and Account Manager at Action Specialties who has been with the company since 1999, growing a solid reputation with his clients within the electrical industry while enjoying the close-knit team he works with daily. After starting his career at Ace Uniforms and Gulotta’s, Jared’s love for working with people and tackling new challenges kick-started his profession in sales. A key highlight of Jared’s career has been building and expanding the company’s electrical client base. When he’s off the clock, he enjoys spending time with his son Andre, daughter Payton, and his wife, Lauren, whom he met at Action Specialties. Today, his focus remains on strengthening client relationships and helping the company reach its financial goals.
Jeffrey Bruce Landry

Jeffrey Landry joined the Action Specialties team in 2009, where he has worked in a variety of roles from warehouse to sales. Now an Outside Sales Representative, he brings a unique blend of people skills, timeliness, and a knack for technology to his work. His tenacity and robust industry knowledge that he’s acquired throughout his career enabled him to achieve the impressive feat of reaching $3 million in sales in 2023. In his downtime, he’s passionate about golf, pickleball, and photography, and as a husband and father of two, he balances a busy personal and professional life with a seize-the-day attitude. As he looks to the future, Jeffrey is determined to grow further and become the top salesperson at Action Specialties.

Bryan Lipari brings a wealth of experience to his role in Sales at Action Specialties, having first joined the company in 1997 and returning in 2020 after a successful venture in growing his own oilfield equipment company from four employees to over 100. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and executive education in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard, Bryan excels in business acumen, negotiation, and relationship building. These skillsets played an integral role in his part in expanding Action to its second location. Looking ahead, Bryan is committed to helping Action achieve its goals and supporting his children in their own paths to success.

As a proud “boy mom,” she enjoys spending her free time exploring the outdoors with her family, fishing, relaxing at the beach, and reading.

Christi Derouen has been balancing books and boosting morale at Action Specialties since 2006. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a decade of CPA firm experience, Christi’s not just about dollars and cents—she’s a jill-of-all-trades who’s mastered HR, accounts payable, and payroll. Her impeccable output can be attributed to her laser-focused attention to detail, tech-savvy skills, and uncanny ability to juggle tasks like a pro. When she’s not deep in spreadsheets, you’ll find Christi cheering at sports events or reeling in the big ones on fishing trips. Inspired by her father’s 50-year tenure at one company, Christi lives by the mantra of giving 110% to every task—because there’s no such thing as a small job, only big opportunities to grow.

Lisa Landry joined our team as Customer Service Manager with an impressive 20 years of experience in auto finance operations and sales. With a passion for understanding how things work and finding solutions, she finds great fulfillment in process improvement, coaching, and operations management. Her proudest achievement is building a new bank division from the ground up. It’s this type of grit and her drive to contribute to company growth that make her an indispensable part of the team. Lisa credits her success to the support of her loving husband, Patrick, and hopes to give others opportunities to grow while paying forward the lessons she’s learned along the way.

With a degree in Business Management from LSU, Jarett thrives on the constant evolution of the business and enjoys working outdoors in his free time. One of his most notable accomplishments was leading a successful inventory system rollout in 2023. Looking ahead, he’s focused on integrating more technology into operations. Michael Lipari is a dedicated Production & Safety Manager based out of our New Iberia office with over two decades of experience managing warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory operations. Inspired by his family’s business, he brings a deep passion for production and safety, backed by 5S and leadership certifications. Michael’s commitment to his team is rivaled only by his dedication to his personal motto: “Always take pride in your job.” Outside of work, he enjoys family time, sports, hunting, and fishing like a true Louisiana Sportsman.
Anthony Mayard
Puchasing Manager
As the Purchasing Manager at Action Specialties, Anthony Mayard brings a fresh perspective with his extensive background in purchasing and inventory management across the oil & gas, manufacturing, and industrial equipment sectors. Although new to the team, his ability to quickly learn, communicate effectively, and actively listen positions him for success. Anthony thrives on working with diverse suppliers and departments, and he values the company’s “We can do that” culture. Outside of work, he’s an avid backpacker with a side project creating nutrition-focused backpacking meals. With a passion for problem-solving, Anthony looks forward to building long-term stability at Action Specialties, while also expanding his skills in SQL and PowerBI.

Yvette Lafleur received her degree in Information Technology before joining Action Specialties in 2011. Starting out as an IT tech and building online stores for our clients eventually led her to pursue her role as our dedicated IT Manager. Her proudest achievement is successfully migrating the company from GSuite to Microsoft. Known for her love of problem-solving and the camaraderie she shares with her coworkers, Yvette enjoys the relaxed, family-like environment at work. In her off time, she’s all about family, fishing, and anything horror-related.
