Letter from the CEO
Sept 16th, 2022

I love this time of year – the kids are back in school, the weather is starting to cool off, and, most importantly, football season is back.  I’ve always been a sports fanatic and my favorite sport was, and still is, football!  I like the speed of the game as well as the physical contact.  I also love the team aspect and the importance of having the right players in the right positions to successfully execute a play.  I played Quarterback at Patterson High with guys like David Lowery, Mike Millican, and my brother, Louis.  I have good memories of my playing days and my teammates. 

After my high school career, I went on to coach my sons and was very active in the high school booster club.  My first business was a sporting goods store and I enjoyed helping teams to gear up for the different sports.  I have always emphasized good sportsmanship, teamwork, and playing to win.  One of my favorite Lombardi quotes is “winners never quit, and quitters never win”. 

My competitive nature has carried over into my professional life.  I have spent a lot of time building a championship team here at Action.  We compete hard to earn your business every day.  And we know that the products that we produce give you a competitive edge for your business.  Just like preparing for a big game, we spend a lot of time thinking about ways to get better and deploying new tactics to deliver a winning result.

 

We take pride in designing spirit shirts and creating player banners.  We love making Friday nights special for all the players, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, and families that play and attend the games. 

Being a good team member doesn’t stop at work.  We realize that we must be teammates with our local community.  Over the past month we sponsored several local football teams.  We also sponsored a “Paint the Town Pink” event with a local hospital to promote breast cancer awareness. 

We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!”.
