Well, the summer has certainly started off with some hot days. I know lots of people are taking beach vacations in Alabama, Florida, and other nice locations. I want you to relax and be safe on your vacations – drive defensively, stay hydrated, keep a close eye on small children, and protect yourself from excessive sun. I encourage all of you to enjoy your time off and to make some special memories with your families.  The summer will be over soon so make the most of what’s left.

And with the end of summer comes the start of a new school year.
