Letter from the CEO
Apr 17th, 2023

Every day, I read reports about the growing number of job openings in the US, the historically low unemployment rate, and trends in employee turnover.  I’ve been an employer for my entire career and I know the importance of recruiting and retaining good employees.  It’s a tough market out there today and employers are trying to find creative ways to improve employee engagement.

We have a good track record of helping our customers to set up incentive programs that reward employees for contributing to the success of their business.  We offer online stores that provide incentives for achieving work anniversary milestones, exceeding safety targets, or meeting performance-based goals.  We can get real creative in the type of rewards that we offer ranging from branded company gear to seasonal products that everyone loves. We’ve proven to our existing customers that programs like this pay for themselves by improving morale, increasing employee retention, and adding that unique differentiator that keeps employees happy and engaged.  Give us a call to learn more about our incentive program offerings.

I’m thankful for the team here at Action.  I’ve been fortunate to have surrounded myself with an extraordinary team.  Our employees are loyal, committed, determined, and caring.  We have just over 70 team members here at Action and I’m proud to say that almost half of our employees have been with us for over 10 years.  They are the foundation of our business.  We would not have been successful without their contributions and dedication.

Our local community and the Acadiana area are full of good people.  We have been fortunate to be able to participate in and sponsor many events to support many worthy causes.  This past month we donated banners and signs for the Dreams Come True Golf Tournament.   We love being a part of things like this.

We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!”.
