I strongly believe that the key to succeeding in business is customer satisfaction. If our customers are not satisfied, they will bring their business to someone else. If they are satisfied with our products and service, they will likely buy from us again. Our team is focused on providing an outstanding customer experience, but we can’t do it alone. We need our extended team of supplier/partners to help us to deliver quality products on a timely basis.
We are fortunate to have built strong relationships with our suppliers over the years. We have gone through tough times together and always find a solution. We lean on our suppliers to get us products when demand is high and supply is low. We expect them to provide fair prices and stand behind their products. We keep the lines of communication open when we have backorders or shipping delays. We meet often to exchange ideas and provide feedback. These relationships help us to ensure that our customers are satisfied.
There is also another element of customer satisfaction that is not as obvious. A lot of our customers have fundraising events for causes that we truly believe in and support. We often provide products for these events to help schools, hospitals, and companies. A big event we are supporting this month is Opelousas General’s “Paint the Town Pink Campaign”. We also support businesses outside of Louisiana. This month, we are teaming up with Murphy Oil in a chili / gumbo cook-off to benefit the United Way in the Eagle Ford Shale area. We like giving back and it means even more when we can do it with customers and suppliers that are a big part of our business.
We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!.”
