I am usually so busy that I don’t take time to look back and see how our business has evolved over the years. We recently decided to create a video to share a little about our story – who we are, what we do, and how we serve our customers. The first of a series of videos about Action was released this month. I hope you had a chance to watch it and, if you haven’t, I’d encourage you to do so. We are proud of what we do here in Iberia Parish.
After the video was released on social media, we received a lot of comments and feedback from a wide group of people. The comments included responses like “I didn’t know you had that much equipment”, and “I didn’t realize your business had grown that much”. But the comments that I liked the best were about our customers and our employees. We heard “your customers sure like doing business with you” and “your company employs a lot of people.”
I spent some time reflecting on that and, to be honest, those two groups have made our business what it is today. We have good customers that have high standards. They expect the best, want quick deliveries, and creative solutions.
Our employees are fully committed, work hard to exceed customer expectations, and help to nurture a strong culture in our business. I’m proud of our team and know that our customers would not be as loyal to Action if our extraordinary team didn’t make things happen every day.
As you know, our local community is near and dear to our hearts. This month, a local golf course hosted a prestigious tournament for teenage golfers – the 1st Clubs for Kids Junior All Star Invitational. This was the first time the event was held here. Pulling off something like this is never easy and Action, along with several other local businesses, were asked to help sponsor the event. We are proud to say that we were part of supporting a foundation that helps teach kids the values and life-lessons of integrity, perseverance, honesty, focus, and etiquette.
We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!”.
