It’s hard to believe that it’s been 56 years since the first man stepped on the moon.  I still remember watching the event on TV and being amazed at the accomplishment.  Our country’s leadership had a vision that we could develop a program that would enable a man to actually walk on the moon.  Most people thought it was just a dream.  Someone once said, “If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough”.  It was definitely a scary and ambitious goal, but we succeeded in accomplishing it in eight short years.

At Action, we also have aspirational goals.  It may not compare to putting a man on the moon, but we try to make sure every customer has a great experience.  Our team is focused on making sure you not only get what you need but you get it ahead of schedule and it exceeds your expectations.  It’s not rocket science, but it does take a focused effort and on-going continuous improvement activities.

Another aspiration we have at Action is making our community a better place.  This month we are conducting drives to raise supplies for the victims of the terrible floods in Texas.  We also started collecting school supplies for our “Pack the Backpack” project.  Finally, we continue to provide support for local schools and community organizations like IPAL.  Our efforts are hopefully helping to make life better for a wide range of people and organizations.

We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!.”
