I have been in this business for a long time and I still love coming to work every morning.  I enjoy working with our customers and suppliers.  I like solving problems and making changes to make our operations run smoother.  I appreciate the effort our team puts into meeting aggressive delivery expectations and taking care of our customers.  And, I still get excited when we get a nice order or welcome a new customer.  I’ve been fortunate to be in a business that is both challenging and fun.

Last week, we had our annual kick-off meeting with our sales team.  We continue to challenge ourselves to find ways to better serve our customers.  We are expanding our reach into new market sectors.  We have lots of new products to offer and are close to finishing the launch of a new on-line store platform.  We are working with a new marketing firm to improve our web search capabilities and better promote our brand.  Things like this motivate me because they are new and challenging, and I know they will make our business better.

We also like to play a small role in making our community better.  This month, we supported the Iberia Cultural Resource Association which supports a wide range of events and projects in the New Iberia area.  We also supported a program in The Mother Teresa Foundation, an organization that focuses on the welfare of underprivileged communities.  And, our employees are giving of their own time to distribute valentine’s cards to the elderly and collecting items for the Chez Hope Foundation.  These are good programs with important missions.  They help to make our world a better place.

We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!.”
