We are celebrating our 30th year in business this month. It has been a great run. Not always easy, but the challenges we’ve faced over the years have made us a better and bigger business. We have grown from our first location in a small building on Lewis Street to our current 40,000 square foot facility on Highway 90 and a 2nd location in Houston. Back in 1994, we started with 5 employees. We now have almost 90. We started out with intentions on selling promotional products but have evolved into a business with 6 major product lines. And while Oil & Gas is still the biggest market sector we serve, we do business across more than 20 other significant sectors. We like to promote that we are a regional company with a global reach and a local customer touch.
I’m proud of our team and all they have done to serve our customers since Day 1. I’m proud of the way we do business with integrity and open communications. I’m proud of our focus on continuous improvement and delivering high quality products. I’m proud of the relationships we’ve formed with our customers and suppliers over the years. And I’m proud to be part of our local community and to be able to support so many good causes that positively impact people’s lives.
This month, we are again conducting a Toys for Tots drive. The box is filling up and we welcome anyone that wants to join us in making the holidays special for children at Christmas. We also made some donations to the Cajun Navy to help support the recovery efforts following the storm in North Carolina and Tennessee.
We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!.”
