Letter from the CEO
Aug 18th, 2022
I started my business with the belief that we had to be something special in the eyes of our customers. I was willing to do whatever it took to deliver what they wanted and when they wanted it. In fact, I always wanted to give them more than they expected, and I wanted them to know that we could do virtually anything. Our motto, “We can do that” spun out from that belief.
Over the years, we have had many requests from our customers that may have been outside of our normal operating parameters. But we never said no, and we found a way to get it done. Sometimes we just had to work harder and longer. Other times, we teamed up with our critical suppliers to make it happen. And there were times where we had to make a big investment in equipment or inventory, and we did it to make sure our customers received what they wanted.
I’m very proud of the team we’ve built over the years and their ability to adapt to changing demand and technology. We have expanded our facility and invested in equipment that allows us to do a lot of things in house. In fact, that’s one of the key things that differentiates us from our competition. We do outsource some things, but the majority of what we deliver is made here in our facility in New Iberia, LA. I’m proud of that!
I’m also proud of the many things we do to support our local community. Over the past month we sponsored a fishing tournament that involved Wounded War Heroes. We are also one of the sponsors at this year’s CCA Louisiana’s Sugar Chapter banquet. The CCA is a marine conservation organization which promotes and enhances our vast coastal resources.
We’re making it happen at Action and when our customers call, we always say “we can do that!”.
