Leadership Training Seminar - Saturday, January 24, 2009

January 24, 2009, Action Specialties teamed with Adventures in Reality Inc. to host a Leadership Training Seminar for 30 members of our sales team management team for a day of fun and team building skills. We feel strongly about investing in our greatest asset, our employees, and made a full day of fun out of it.
Adventures in Reality, Inc. is an experiential learning program using hands on modules to teach life skills and teambuilding. Some activities are physically and psychologically demanding, but a great way to learn more about ones self and team mates.
The day began with everyone sharing how many years they had been a part of Action, their role in the company, and taking personality tests.
It was interesting to learn more about ourselves and our teammates.
We were divided into 3 teams of 10 each and learned that most great accomplishments take the whole team to succeed. Learn to utilize your strengths where needed on the team. We had to communicate without speaking, trust without knowing the outcome, and challenge our thinking to meet time issues on each different exercise.
Robin and Lenny Lipari hosted the event at their home and lunch and refreshments were served.
