We have expanded our “in-house” capabilities with the newest Direct To Garment printing technology available. This allows custom printing jobs to go from the computer directly to the garment without the costly expenses of films and screens, making this process ideal for quick turnaround and low quantity jobs.

Direct To Garment Print

Why would I choose Direct to Garment over Screen Printing for imprinting needs?
   - With Direct to Garment printing, there are no minimum requirements. We can
     print as little as one piece. Screen printing requires a minimum of 25 pieces
     per order to set up the printing press and burn screens.

Am I limited to the number of colors that can be printed?
     - No, Direct to Garment printing can reproduce multiple colors by using the 4
       color process printing system.

What events do you recommend for Direct to Garment printing?
     - Any functions that require a small quantity of imprinted garments are perfect
       for this process. Some great ideas are — bachelor or bachelorette parties,
       retirement parties, group teams such as March of Dimes, Cancer Walk teams,
       milestone adult birthdays, and kid’s birthday parties…. just to name a few.

What is the production time for Direct to Garment orders?
     - Our normal process is two weeks from start to finish, but on many occasions
       shirts are ready in less than a week.(Especially when we have the artwork on
       hand or it’s a repeat order.)

How durable is the print with Direct to Garment?
     - We have product tested and washed Direct to Garment items on different
       fabrics for at least 60 washings, and the print still looks as good as it did the
       day it was printed. There is no fading or cracking of the imprint. With normal
       washing methods, the imprint will last the life of the garment.

What do I need to get started?
      - Simply provide Action with your own electronic artwork, or give us your
        ideas so we can provide you with a quote to create artwork for you. Let us
        know your quantity, color of shirts, and number of locations to be printed and
        we can price out the job for you.

Can this process be used on any color garment?
     - Yes, it can. Light or dark color shirts can be imprinted.
