THE FIRST CALL TO ACTION It all began on January 2, 1995 on Lewis Street in New Iberia, Louisiana.Four family members joined together to do what we all knew best… promotional products, work uniforms, and safety and incentive programs. Lenny Lipari, Craig Landry, Nancy Landry, and Mark Lipari took the first steps to start a business that would become the industry leader in so many ways. Later that year, we hired Lori Horn and Roxann Mannina to operate the monogram equipment. All six remain part of Team Action today. |

A NEW PLACE TO CALL HOME In the years that followed, Action Specialties opened a second location on Southpark Road in Lafayette, Louisiana. The original New Iberia location could no longer fully accommodate the expanding customer base, the services we wanted to provide, and the need for additional employees. We operated two locations from 1998 – 2001, adding screen printing, vinyl signs and decal services at our second location. DEPARTMENT SPOLIGHTS In the months to come, we will spotlight each of our different departments and the employees that make us who we are. We want you to meet our Action Family that we are so proud of and happy to have working with us. |
Finally, on September 1, 2001, the two locations combined and home became the facility on Highway 90 that we are in today. However, we didn’t stop growing. In 2006 we expanded our existing building to 40,000 square feet which gave us additional warehouse space , monogram machines, and a company store to meet our growing customer demands. Our Action Team now consists of 78 of the best employees we could have ever hoped for!  |
